About Us
NW Newcomer Journals is published by HomeTown Publishing, Inc. and is proud to be a Washington State corporation that is owned by local families. Our principals have a combined business owner and management experience of more than 134 years. Our staff has a combined publishing experience of over 207 years. Our graphic artists, data entry clerks, editorial writers, research specialists, layout personnel, computer experts, bookkeepers, web designers, IT staff, account executives, business managers, administrative assistants and distribution workers are all active members of our local community and perhaps even your neighbor.
NW Newcomer sponsors and is published independently for use by all county and city governments, community associations, chambers of commerce and other business associations and human resource departments of companies who choose to partner with us in providing timely information to newcomers who are relocating to the NW Metroplex.
Hometown Publishing, Inc. publishes five NW Newcomer neighborhood guide and moving planners for geographically targeted markets including Pierce County, Greater Thurston County, Seattle, The Eastside, and Snohomish County.
Our Journals are published twice each year, in the spring and again in the fall. This gives our Journals market stability unmatched by newspapers or magazines, a physicality that radio and TV can never touch and targeted audience circulation with which Yellow Pages can never compete. In addition, our readers consist of high earning, big spending, relocating families who typically spend more in a 6 month period than an established family will spend in six years.
